High Prairie Rate Increase

Dear High Prairie Water Supply Members,

High Prairie WSC strives to provide healthy and reliable water service to our members. As such, from time to time, High Prairie WSC needs to be prudent in the evaluation of expenses related to the ongoing maintenance and investment into the water system. In early 2026 High Prairie WSC reviewed the usage rates and revenues we raise to assure our members are receiving the necessary service at affordable rates. In efforts to provide good quality water for our members we must increase our rates.

Beginning April 1, 2026, the base rate of the bill for usage below 2,000 gallons will increase by $9.00 per month. On January 1, 2027, a total rate adjustment will occur depending on your total water usage for those utilizing 6,000 gallons or more per month. To ensure that the rate structure reflects the best use of water and to mitigate the impact on most users, we have added additional rate block tiers. A complementary rate increase will be in effect for higher volume users. High Prairie WSC has continually experienced increasing operational costs to maintain and operate the whole system.
